R3POWER Project

SCOPE

The R3POWER project is presented as a comprehensive, reliable, and solid initiative for the “integral circular repowering” of wind farms, applying 3 combined strategies that maximize circularity in waste management – Reuse, Recycling, and revaluation (zero waste) – and in its prevention – new easily recyclable and repairable materials – all catalyzed with transversal technologies such as AI, aiming for the low environmental and economic impact of each strategy.

For this purpose, an interdisciplinary consortium has been formed with a group of 8 companies: NORVENTO (leader), RENERCYCLE, TEMHA, GIRAWIND, ACTECO, HI-IBERIA, AEROBLADE, AEROX, and a group of 4 public and private research organizations: CETIM, AIMEN, UVA, and CIEMAT, which has been awarded public funding by the CENTER FOR TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATION E.P.E. (CDTI) through the call of the program “Missions of Science and Innovation – Transmissions” of the year 2024, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan and the Next Generation EU program.
